SPARKILL, N.Y. — The NYIT men's basketball team fell to St. Thomas Aquinas, 97-74, on Wednesday.

Jeffrey Hayden contributed a team-high 15 points as well as five rebounds in the defeat. Laurynas Stonkus, making his sixth straight start, scored 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting. Opong Bramble had 11 and Kieran Hamilton had 10 for the Bears.

NYIT (3-24, 1-14 ECC) has dropped 12 straight games.
