Rachael Goldstein enters her second season with the NYIT women's lacrosse program in 2018.
Goldstein was a standout three-year member of the Dowling College women's lacrosse program. In her time she was named ECC Women's Lacrosse Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2009 and ECC Female Scholar Athlete of the Year, alongside being named to the Dowling College Honor Roll and Dean's List each semester.
Goldstein recorded a .481 save percentage and made double digit stops in six games during her senior campaign. A four-time ECC Defensive Player of the Week recipient, she helped her team advance to the NCAA Women’s Lacrosse tournament for the first time in school history. The 2011 ECC Goalkeeper of the Year, she was named to the IWLCA second team and earned CoSIDS Academic All-District honors.
Currently the Ridge, N.Y., native provides direct patient care at the Brookhaven Hospital as an emergency department physician's assistant. She graduated with a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Dowling College in 2011 and recently completed her master's in physician assistant studies as well as a bachelor of science in health sciences from Touro College.
