BABYLON, N.Y. (Oct. 16, 2013) - The NYIT women's tennis team brought the 2013 East Coast Conference regular-season to a close with a 9-0 victory on the road at Dowling College.
The Bears head into the ECC Championship Tournament, which will be held on Oct. 25-26 at Queens (N.Y.) College, with a No. 1 seed and an 8-0 conference record.
NYIT has one more non-conference match scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 23 against Goldey-Beacom. First serve is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the NYIT Tennis Complex.
The match was clinched by Alessia Rossetti (Minusio, Switzerland) at fifth singles singles.
